CY Leung’s daughter reduces her dog-sitting rate, proceeds going to animal charities

Photos from her Pawshake profile show Chai Yan Leung with one of her dogs in the Government House gardens.

We’re guessing Chai Yan Leung’s rates were a bit high for the current pet-sitting market.

Originally charging a whopping HKD5,000 a day to take care of your pooch (or ferret or rodent), the chief executive’s eldest daughter is now willing to smother your pet with “100 percent care and attention” at only HKD300 a day, according to her profile on Pawshake, an online pet-sitting network.

Pawshake previously confirmed to Coconuts HK that this is indeed the chief executive’s daughter profile.

In a Facebook status update posted at 8:23am this morning, she announced the price reduction and promised to take pictures “of your beloved baby(ies) roaming and having fun in the Government House gardens”.

‘Rest assured your baby will be in absolute complete safe hands and spoilt with utmost love and attention,” Leung continued.

For your beloved animal to stay the night with Leung at the beautiful Government House, it will still set you back HKD2,000.

To sweeten the deal, she said that “proceeds go to animal shelters and rescued dogs”. In case you were wondering, she thinks that “animal cruelty is DISGUSTING”.

At HKD300 day, it’s only a matter of time before she gets some takers… Make sure to let us know if you decide to select her services!
